• The XVII INSARAG Americas regional group meeting took place from 5 to 6 November in Mexico City, generously hosted by the Government of Mexico. The meeting, which brought together 62 participants from the region and beyond representing 19 countries and 4 organizations, elected a new Regional Chairmanship Group, provided inputs for next year’s Regional Work Plan, and discussed the key INSARAG issues following the INSARAG Steering Group meeting last February, namely: Light Teams Quality Assurance Standards, National Accreditation Processes, INSARAG Global Meeting 2020, and INSARAG Guidelines feedback.
