From 3 to 8 October 2021 Poland will host the 3rd INSARAG Global Meeting and will open its doors for a one-week event. The network of policy and technical experts will discuss and deliberate on new ways of delivering value-added life-saving assistance, aiming to be fit for the future.
The event provides an opportunity to USAR teams from all over the world to share their expertise and to learn from best practices across the regions striving for a global approach. Clear objectives of the community for 2020-2025 will be defined to improve the efficiency and effectiveness in the provision of capacity building and response. This future direction will be captured in an “INSARAG Warsaw Declaration”, which will serve as a main pillar for the “INSARAG Strategic Plan 2020-2025”.
In 2020, INSARAG is celebrating 30 years of life-saving assistance. The Global Meeting offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the anniversary with network members. An updated version of the INSARAG Guidelines capturing essential lessons learned will also be released during the event
