The INSARAG Steering Group Meeting is now confirmed for 8 February 2018 in the CICG in Geneva. The ISG will once again convene as part of the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW). Hosted by the Swiss Government and co-chaired by the UK’s Department of International Development (DFID) and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the HNPW provides a space for humanitarian networks and partnerships to hold their annual meetings. We strongly encourage all ISG participants to stay the entire week and engage with humanitarians from across a wide global spectrum on a suite of relevant topics and to contribute towards advancing the frontiers of crisis preparedness and response.

The ISG 2018 meeting will broadly be in 2 parts:

Part 1: 0830-1030hrs

Meeting of the Global and Regional Chairs and Troika, Working Group Chairs and Team Leader Representatives. The Chairs will discuss issues deliberated in regional and team leader meetings of 2017 and converge towards a common agreed policy decision;

1030-1100h  Coffee/Tea Break

Part 2: 1100-1730h

Meeting open to INSARAG IEC teams national focal points, partners and HNPW network members. The leadership group of the ISG will present the collective results and recommendations and discuss on new areas moving INSARAG fit for the future.

Details and summary of regional group meeting decisions will be shared well before the meeting date to confirmed participants. Kindly sign up here:  or follow the link from the HNPW email below.

We look forward to meeting everyone at the HNPW
