Dear Chairs and Members of Partner Networks,
The UN Secretary General has pledged zero tolerance for inaction against sexual exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment (SEAH) in international cooperation. As members of the international aid community, we are obligated to prevent, detect and respond to SEAH.
At the HNPW 2022, we invite you to join us at “Fit for PSEAH?” – an interactive live theatre event that addresses this highly topical and challenging issue. On 11 May 2022, from 4 to 5.30 pm, professional actors will take us on a PSEAH journey, guiding us through two fictional scenarios drawn from our daily reality in the field.
We will experience and explore what SEAH means to those involved, what it triggers in us, what questions it raises and how we should act. Together, we will take a critical look at power imbalances, gender inequality and contextual aspects related to misconduct in humanitarian action!
This event is for network leaders, programme managers and frontline responders. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on what to do when confronted with common situations, and provided with relevant UN and IASC standards and guidance.
The event will take place at the Centre International de Conférences Genève (CICG)
Rue de Varembé 17, 1202 Genève, Switzerland | Salle 3 (niveau -1)
